Sleek Ponytail
Equipment needed:
Step by step guide:
1) First you need to lightly wet the hair
2) Using your paddle brush, brush the hair back and blow dry the hair backwards, in order for the hair to go towards the back of the head
3) Using a tail combe, take a section from both of the temples and neatly bring it towards the crown
4) Take the top section of the hair and clip it so that it is out the way.
5) Spray the bottom section of the hair with water
6) Bring it into a tight ponytail. ** Use the hair bungee to secure it
7) Now, take the top section of the hair and while smoothing it, place it backwards into the ponytail
8) Now, create a hairband with a piece of hair from the bottom. ** remember to hairspray it FIRST!
9) Wrap it around the ponytail and secure using a grip

***This hairstyle requires you do the exact same steps, excluding the step where you have to smooth the top section of the hair***
1) Take sections of your top section and back-comb in order to create texture and volume. You can do this using your pintail comb.
2) Gather all the hair towards the hairband, while remember to smooth over the top section in order to give it a neat finish!
*Wrap a piece of hair around it to create a hairband effect. *Repeat the steps above to achieve this

Reflection
I have really enjoyed doing these hairstyles, because I feel like I got the chance to be creative and play with different textures. It was really fun, however I do feel like I need to practise the French Pleat, in order to be able to do it perfectly. However, I don't feel like it's too bad and I would actually use it for a photo shoot.
